In 2016, Moore Earthworks designed and created a 4×4 off-road course for Donington Park. The course features miles of off-road and gravel tracks with steep inclines and declines, steps, side slopes and a range of other natural and man-made obstacles to negotiate!
The work included land profiling to create the required inclines and obstacles, creation of a rocky road, log road, log steps and a water splash, amongst other things. Drainage was particularly important to make sure that the track drives as intended, whatever the weather.
We had a fantastic time creating a special 4×4 driving experience and of course testing it on completion. The course is suitable for beginners and experienced drivers, and the Donington Park “4×4 off road experience” offers the use of a modern 4×4 , with a trainer and guide – a fun and educational experience.
